Some of the features provided by VMware vSphere ESXi:
- Migrating a VM without shutting it down is TCS. live migration
- Multiple physical servers running virtual machines
- Maintenance mode with dynamic load distribution
- Migrating a VM from a single storage group
ESX / ESXi, together with FC SAN, provides high performance and comfort of use. Also, ESX / ESXi can also function when using other components.
VMware has compatibility problems at times.
I had to learn how compatibility vmware works before I could do anything with it. You can find a lot of VMware solutions on the Altaro website. |
