In divisions 1-7 there are six players. Each player has 5 games, 2 against each of the other players.
In divisions 8-10 there are seven players. Each player has 6 games, 2 against each of the other players.

Please create and join the games in the usual way - using the exact game name (eg Season 1 Division 10 Game #14) and put the players names in the comments section. Please use password tournament.
Anyone can create the games, and if you come to join and all your games are not yet set up, I urge you to create the remaining ones.

Please see this for rules, scoring etc.

A note on the seeding - I had to anticipate the results of a couple of games - but even if I guessed incorrectly, no player should be more than one division away from the correct one. Those who did not participate in the tournament were randomly allocated division 8 - 10.

I will try to check games are set up correctly and chase laggards, but given that there are 112 games to monitor, please feel free to remind others in your division if they seem to have missed this post.

Finally, I hope that all games will be completed within 6 weeks (so we can move on to season two and see the effects of promotion/relegation). If any games are still in play after Thursday 20 November I reserve the right to arbitrarily allocate a score, and possibly suspend the player(s) at fault, so that we can move on.

A game that hasn't started can be deleted by the creator from within the "your games waiting to start" tab.

Progress report on games set up / started

Divisions 1-7 all games set up, most waiting for the odd player to join all games and/or 1 player to join the odd game.

Division 8 only six games set up (thanks Ace!). Please create the rest as soon as possible (it's not difficult if you use cut and paste from two tabs).

Division 9. All but one game created. remainder waiting on two players to join all their games.

Division 10 - all games up and running! - The first to start (even with an extra player).

I have pm'd those who don't seem to have joined any games and left in game messages for those who have the odd game to join so we should get the rest up and running soon.

Please check that you have six* games in play, just in case someone has joined the wrong one - that is too difficult for me to check myself.

*If you are in division 2 or 8 you might still be waiting on one or two games.

An update on how it is going.

Given that we started only 8 days ago, it seems to be going pretty well, and six weeks should be enough to finish all games.

This League has the best tournament style so far: Everyone plays a reasonable amount of games (6 in my case), the points are tallied and the winner is whoever is in front, no semi-finals and no finals. Perfect!
