Welcome everyone to season 2. There are 6 leagues of 8 players each. New players have started in League's E and F, with the exception of brianlcarr and cterrell, both of whom are in League C due to their previous Hacienda tournament record.

The top ranked player in each League after 7 rounds will be called League champion. Rankings are based on matches won, followed by games won. If two players tie, then the ladder order is based on the result of their individual match.

Matches will start at approximately 9 day intervals

Please keep a look out for the next round, so I dont have to spend all my time contacting players to remind them to join their games.

Round 1 starts today
Round 2 is therefore scheduled for next Friday.

Each match has 3 games in it - a no variant, a variant 1, and a variant 2 game.

Password for all games: tournament

Round 1 map: 291

Only wins and losses will be taken into account in the final table, not margins.

Please send your opponent a message when you create the games.

Please copy the game name from the forum thread, and put your opponents name in the comments section.

small problem ----
the game names for season 2 are the same as the game names used in season 1

before I create any games does Kanga have a preference Question

Exactly half of the players have joined or created their games now.

I've updated the above draw so it has game names that are not duplicates of names used previously, but as long as you put approximately what's above I'll be able to find it.

For League F, shouldn't our round number be R1 rather than R5?

The whole of group F is duplicated - R1 and R5 apparently.

No, I see what's happened. We've got two League Fs. I guess we should be playing the one marked Round 1 Smile

I just noticed this was posted now, so a little late, but i noticed that the Kanga Koinksi games were created as a 5 player game, so you both have joined but haven't started.

I've deleted the R5 draw from League F (a sneak preview)

Hopefully everything else works ok. I've been very short on time so haven't had a proper chance to check things out.
