I am currently at the start of a one-year design project, studying at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. The problem area for this project is the age-old "hand pump" problem in the enduro and MTB downhill disciplines; the goal of which is to develop and prototype an effective design solution aimed at combating its "crippling effects". Surprisingly, this is a topic that has received very little academic attention in the context of two-wheeled transport, with the exception of numerous studies on surgical solutions for the treatment of motorcyclists(a luxury that most cannot afford). Therefore, during the market research phase of my design process, I should aim to collect as much of my own data from the mountain bike community as possible, this will help me establish the prevalence of the problem and the demand for a solution, as well as gather invaluable feedback from my potential market group.

Congratulations, I hope everything works out for you. But, unfortunately, it's a lot harder to start something new because of the pandemic.

The pandemic dealt a massive blow to the economy, which was felt most by the working class. Many people are in big trouble, especially in poor countries whose economies have collapsed. Even I have a hard time finding a good market research company because of the pandemic because of the problematic situation in the world. I started losing profits and going into deficit.
