What's the problem with it being out of print? You don't need to have the box on your shelf in order to play an online version. |
Being out of print seems like a good reason to want it on this site. sbw would be the only way a lot of people would be able to play it. |

I don't think it has been mentioned before - but a game that would be perfect for SBW implementation would be Candamir!
Candamir is plaqued with downtime and lack of player interaction when playing in person and its ratings suffer because of it. These drawbacks would enable the game to work very smoothly on SBW IMHO. It would make it even better if you could create your own characters at the beginning of the game.

Games in the Eurorails, India Rails, Empire Builder series would be great. Once you had the mechanism implemented, additional versions would probably not be hard to add as they primarily just have different maps and different goods. Also, in general they are a pain to play in person as they are just so slow. (To play the live version, we limit ourselves to a max of 3 players and add various rule enhancements to get things going more quickly -- more building turns, more starting money, automatic upgrade to faster trains, etc.) Games that are fun but are not that popular "live" due to long think time and/or long playing time would be good candidates for web play.
A similar game to the above that would also be good online is Merchants of Venus. You also have to spend time figuring out what paths make the most profit and where to pick up and sell goods.
By the way, I really want to compliment this site! I just started playing here this week and have been very impressed by the incorporation of all the features that I wish I had on BGG (notepad as well as message, ability to turn OFF the email for every turn, etc.). The graphics and ease of use overall are outstanding!
Thanks, Ellen |

I'd have to second the Candamir suggestion above. |

I don't know if anyone's still interested in this thread, but I thought RoboRally would make a great SpielByWeb game. Is it already being done on another site? |

Blue Moon City could work pretty well.
However, my #1 wish is Railroad Tycoon. I'd love to be able to play it online. |

Antike tops my wish list. Power Grid wouldn't be far behind!
Canal Mania might not be that difficult either as it doesn't have a pesky auction engine to deal with and is rather straight forward. |
