I'm playing my first game, and have bought my first province: Amarna. There's a temple in the province, and I don't know what it does! Can't seem to find it in the rules.

Due to me being blind og something... Embarassed

You help me? Tell me what temples do?

At the end of rounds 3 and 6, there are scoring phases. At that time, players owning temple provinces score victory points for their temples. (There are also other sources of victory points; see the rules.)

Temples score points equal to the sacrifice value in the round before the scoring phase. So if the round 3 sacrifice is between 3 and 12, your temple at Amarna will end up being worth 2 points.

(This can be a reason to bid more in the round 3 or 6 sacrifice phase, especially if you have more than one temple.)
