Since things were down for a while, the site is making me log in over and over, without having logged out. I never had to log in repeatedly before, and I haven't changed any of my computer's or browsers' settings. This is happening in IE and Firefox. (Hopefully this is not a new "feature"!)

Try logging in through the forum and check the "Log me in automatically" box found there.
