I realise that, in the 'excitement' of checking that all games had been created/joined I have not indicated how the positions will be decided in this tournament.

So ...

Within each of the 3/4/5 player sub tournaments positions will be decided by number of wins, second places etc. If there is a tie for first place points lost by will be used as a decider. If there is still a tie, joint winners will be declared.

For the purposes of an overall winner, points will be awarded for finishing positions within games.

3 Player 12:5:0

(Points for tied games will be shared eg joint winners of a 4 player game would receive 12 points each).

If there is a tie for first place, overall number of wins, then number of wins in 5 player games will be used to break the tie. If there is still a tie, joint winners will be declared.

The table of scores gives significant weight to winning games, but does still give incentive to finish as high as possible even if it there is no longer a chance to win. Clearly it is arbitrary, but it is probably insignificant compared to the luck of the draw.

One game has finished - and it was a tie - thanks for making it easy for me (... not)!
