It took me a while to learn to like Amun Re. Now it is one of my favorites and SBW is the only place I found to play it. So sad it is going away. |

I'll miss the real-time Amun-Re team the most (it looks like this Friday is our last one). |
Sure will miss the team also...We can create a few in advance |

Reiner also removed the liscense for Schotten Totten from yucata.de. I wonder what his long-term plan is for his games. Maybe he's thinking of starting his own game site with all of his games. I guess we'll see. |

This is very sad but I guess the writing was on the wall since since Samurai disappeared from Mabiweb and Schotten Totten from Yucata. I've thoroughly enjoyed playing here, thank you milksheik for making that possible.
Thanks also to Dr Knizia for letting us play his wonderful game for free for so long, he didn't have to do that. I guess I'll just have to dust off my real copy more often now.

we just need a robot to create some 5000 games with "Effective Start Dates ranging all over next year" and people join these games, so that the games get started, but nobody makes the move till the effective date...
This way we'll all enjoy one more year of Amun-re...
And within legal framework...
Any objections? I can write a script for this fairly fast... |

I'm sure more people have a PC than an iphone.
Another Knizia game disappears off the radar (following Samurai from Mabiweb). |
As did Schotten Totten from yucata.de |

someone must have got the developers ear and said no one is buying the games and just playing online... which is probably far from true. i would figure more than 80% of the players own the games. Even so, only 1/5'th need own them in a typical 5 player game since not everyone who plays a game owns a copy of it... |

The last sacrifice is in, but alas everyone stole
my farmers toil long, but with no incoming or goal.
Quick grab some cards, and pray for some luck
screwed yet again, and scream WTF !
Gad strives for the win, most on a side is not his
Powermorph smiles again, plop plop fizz fizz!
And so the games end, and many say blah!
but of all i do ask, Did your Amun RA? |
