With the advent of tournaments, I find that I am often signing up for multiple password-protected games at one time. Yet every time I join a single password-protected game, SbW sends me back to the open games page. This requires that I click to change pages again, and the load time for the passworded games is probably one of the longest lags on the site.

Would it be possible to change such that after joining a game, you were returned to the same page that you came from? So if you join a passworded game, you wind up back at the passworded games page. If you join an open game, you go back to the open games page.

This would be a big improvement for the user experience.

Thanks!

GREAT IDEA Smile Smile Smile

some short term help might be to clean up the passworded games list
and remove the games that will never start

game numbers in the 42xxx range are 3 months old
game numbers in the 39xxx range are 6 months old
game numbers in the 35xxx range are 9 months old

And, on the non-passworded list, there are those 2 weird games with only one player that are "filled"

Human error? How can you create a 1-player game? It's not an option. Unless it's a bug.

example -- I just created >> freduk's game for one Laughing Laughing Laughing
I removed the check marks for 3, 4 and 5 players and hit submit Embarassed
I received an error message Shocked but a game was created Rolling Eyes

Specific links for game names(Amun-Re, Hacienda and so on) would be also nice. So the list becomes much shorter.

Argh at this! Several tournaments have started in the last few days, and I'm in almost all of them. I was away for the weekend and then had my internet connection down for two days. Now I'm back with dozens of games to join and 44 turns to take. Of course, the passworded games page is laggy.

Instead of making the games passworded, how about if you could list players that are allowed to join your game? Then each player could see a list of games they are expected to join, and then join all those games with a single click, or select only some games using checkboxes.

The whole SHIFT-CLICK thing to open a new window doesn't help?

Right clicking and opening in new window doesn't work, so I'm guessing SHIFT-click doesn't work either.
