I'm about to play my first game of Amun-Re, and I have a question about page 10 of the rules. This page concerns "Phase 6:Scoring".
Under the "Most Pyramids" section, the rules state exactly:
" For both the East and West sides of the Nile, independently, the owner of the Province with the most Pyramids earns 5 points. If there is a tie between more than one players for most Pyramids, the Province with the most of Pyramids, the number of Building Stones in the Province is counted. If there is still a tie, then all tied players receive 5 points each."
I don't know how to interpret the section between the "u"'s - it's gibberish. Any suggestions on how to iron this out?
Thanks,

It's trying to say:
If two players have the same number of pyramids on one side of the river, then individual bricks are the next tiebreaker.
So if I have 3 pyramids and 1 stone in Baharya, and you have 3 pyramids and 2 stones in Damanhur, you would win. |

I always thought it would be better that if there was an eventual tie, then nobody got the points.
Though I guess now there is the tension "we both have 5 points, will he build an extra brick just to screw me out of the points with no gain for himself?"
It just annoys me when 2 people on the other side of the river pick up the 5 points, and there is nothing I can do about it. |

other than having completed pyramids in a province you can also have ones "under construction" - which are bricks (1 or 2 ) that have not been converted into pyramids - these serve as tie-breakers... |
