SpielByWeb has grown a lot in the the past year
218 users have completed at least 100 games
454 users have completed at least 50 games
maybe it's time the rankings list expanded to reflect this growth
I would like to see the following sorts added to the rankings list
PERCENT WON (min. 50 games)
and
PERCENT WON (min. 100 games)
please cast your vote and feel free to comment

I think that’s a great idea – even I usually do not look on the “PERCENT WON” list – even though my PW value isn’t too bad I don’t think it has too much value since a lot of people like 2 player games (like myself (TIKAL)) and so its much easier to obtain a higher “PW” than somebody who prefers 4 or even 5 player games.
I think it would be great to create a system with points, meaning for example: The winner of a two player game gets one point, for a three player game 2 points …… and 4 points for a 5 player game. Any tie would always give only one point.

stargate drove 20+ miles to meet me for some face-to-face gaming, so to thank him I added these two filters to the rankings.
Implementing a point ranking scheme, ELO, or any other ranking methodology is quite low on the priority list right now (and has also been discussed to death in previous threads).
P.S. stargate -- it's spelled "Spiel", not "Speil"...  |
