New to Deadeye or Path of Exile in general? This guide takes a more accessible angle on the Lightning Arrow build for smooth progression from Acts to early endgame. Designed with clarity and simplicity, it highlights affordable gear and skill transitions ideal for first-time players.

Start with Split Arrow or Rain of Arrows while leveling, switching to Lightning Arrow around level 28 once GMP becomes available. Use Pierce Support early on to simulate chain behavior until you unlock Ricochet from Ascendancy.

The passive tree should focus on Life, Evasion, and basic bow nodes in the early Acts. Transition gradually into projectile and elemental damage nodes by Act 6. Keep an eye on resistance caps post-Kitava and utilize the crafting bench for early modifiers.

Gearing is straightforward—look for a high-attack-speed bow with added elemental damage. Tabula Rasa is ideal but not necessary. Use Essence crafting to add lightning damage to weapons or quivers. Evasion-based armor offers protection without compromising speed.

Ascendancy order: Ricochet (Act 3 Lab), then Gathering Winds for Tailwind, followed by Focal Point and Endless Munitions as you enter maps. These provide a good balance between offense and utility, ensuring safe and efficient progression.

Use Lightning Arrow + GMP + Mirage Archer for general mapping and Ballista Totem + Elemental Damage with Attacks for tough rares or bosses. Use Herald of Thunder and Wrath to scale damage while keeping your mana management under control.

Flask setup includes a basic Life Flask, Quicksilver Flask for speed, and a mana flask until mana leech or regen is secured. Later, transition to a Diamond Flask and Jade Flask for crit and evasion synergy.

Ideal for newer players or casual builds, this Lightning Arrow Deadeye strikes a balance between speed, safety, and affordability while maintaining great performance across all core content.
