|
|
I've read a couple of topics here about drop-out players who don't play and hold up games. Is there a way to kill a game or notify an admin about a disappearing player?
Unfortunately, I have 4 games being held up by a guy who has logged on enough times to make moves in certain games, but not others. He's even gone as far as setting his vacation settings and then logged back on after it has expired to change the vacation settings again. That is frustrating. I've sent him 3 PM's that it is his turn and gotten no response. His profile shows he's currently in 11 games (0 completed). His current vacation settings indicate he should have returned 3 days ago (but is still showing up on each game). Apparently the guy had a 7 day vacation, came back to work for a day and then took another 18 day vacation. Come on.
Is there any solution to handling this? |

I know who you're talking about (I'm in the same game!).
I've sent him a private via his BGG login. Maybe we'll see some movement.
If we don't, there is nothing we can do. The game will sit there being untidy, but that's all. Eventually it will disappear, but you'll have to wait a long time yet. I've got older games than this that are waiting... |

With a little research you can find it, the guy is in 11 games and it's his turn to go in all of them. Also he has something like an average of 80 hours between turns!
Hint.. the guy has an _ in his username. |

Is there a reason you aren't outing this person? With this kind of behavior, there's no reason not to let everyone know. |

anyone who wants to know who the user is can check
shizzane's profile and figure it out for themselves
I also think shizzane has shown restraint and good sportsmanship
by not posting the name of the user |

Well, he managed to log on yesterday to take one turn in one game. So after 20+ days we've seen him once and he's left his vacation settings turned on (for a return of 10/10, which was 5 days ago ... and counting). ARGH!
...not to mention he had the time to log on to BGG yesterday as well. |

Unbelievable.
He logged onto SBW last night and changed his vacation settings AGAIN!!!!
...WITHOUT taking a single turn.
Is there a way to prevent this? He won't answer any private messages. |

i'm in love with this content, the visuals are amazing and the animation is so beautiful as well. i wish it got more recognition! the storyline was a bit weird but other than that, it was enjoyable.
for anyone wondering, it's called: garden of words ٩꒰。•‿•。꒱۶ |
